A Tony-nominated Broadway star, Steve's best known for originating Jason/Tyrone in smash hit Hand to God, and as Buddy in the Tony-winning Best Musical Kimberly Akimbo, also appearing in Time and the Conways, The Explorer's Club (with Soggies Carson Elrod & Brian Avers!), and in King Lear as the Fool. Steve played Dwayne on NBC's Trial & Error, with recurring roles in WeCrashed, Love Life, Prodigal Son & more. LINDSAY NICOLE CHAMBERS (No Excuses) . . . A triple-threat comedienne, Lindsay has been seen on & off Broadway & around the USA in Legally Blonde, Lysistrata Jones, Kinky Boots, Hairspray, Elf, Forbidden Broadway, Into the Woods, Little Shop of Horrors, Clue, recent production of Stephen Sondheim's Here We Are & more. CARSON ELROD (#Lemonade) . . . An award-winning comedic actor, writer, activist & co-founder of Arts Workers United and the #BeAnArtsHero campaign, Carson's performed memorable roles on TV (The Good Fight, 30 Rock, Carnivale, High Maintenance, EVIL), film (Kissing Jessica Stein, Wedding Crashers), and countless stage productions on and off-Broadway (Peter & the Starcatcher, Noises Off, Reckless, All in the Timing, Twelfth Night, Midsummer Night's Dream), and as a regular improviser with UCB's Gravid Water. KELLY HUTCHINSON (#Lemonade) . . . A brilliant writer & performer, Kelly's currently a co-writer on Apple TV's Palm Royale, starring Kristen Wiig & Carol Burnett, which has just been nominated for 11 Emmy Awards. Kelly was also a co-writer on all three seasons of celebrated series Dead to Me with Christina Applegate & Linda Cardellini; the show was nominated for multiple Emmy Awards & Kelly received two WGA Award nominations for her work on the series. As an actor, Kelly's performed on Broadway (Desire Under the Elms, MacBeth, Major Barbara), off Broadway & around the country (All in the Timing & more), in TV & film (Catch Me If You Can, The Good Wife, Law & Order SVU, The Blacklist & Strangers With Candy). For CiRCLE 7, Kelly co-wrote & performed #LEMONADE with partner in crime & comedy, Carson Elrod.
JOE PAULIK (Bathroom Diaries & Piano Lesson) . . . A remarkable & hilarious actor, Joe's performed on stages around the country, including on Broadway in Network, at Williamstown, Westport, Huntington, Playwrights Horizons & The Guthrie; favorites include The Public's Timon of Athens, Signature Theater's Love and Money, and Pearl Theater's Stupid F*cking Bird. Joe's originated roles for world class writers including A.R. Gurney, Stephen Belber, Sarah Treem & Rob Askins; he received a Helen Hayes nomination for Bad Jews and an IRNE nomination for The Power of Duff. Member of sketch group Get to the Chopper, Joe's created two one man shows, Time Man and Me & the Moon. For CiRCLE 7, Joe can be seen as awkward outsider Dan in indie comedy The Weekend.
JEREMY RISHE (No Excuses, Piano Lesson) . . . A dynamic actor, writer & creative producer, Jeremy's performed in TV's Ray James, Blue Bloods, Madame Secretary, Elementary, The Good Wife and Invasion, along with film roles in Lost Nation, The Marshmallow Mystery Tour and Nobody Wants to Shoot a Woman, and terrific stage performances in Off-Broadway's The Sabbath Girl and Jewtopia, Jeremy has created several works, including As Soon As You're Born (They Make You Feel Small), web series First World Problem, and Jewtah, a hilarious indie comedy filmed in Jeremy's beautiful home state of Utah. With CiRCLE 7, Jeremy can be seen as Uncle Max in romantic indie comedy The Weekend, and will rock out as Hugh Hylysnan in AiR | UNBOUND.
... and LIZ WISAN (Bathroom Diaries, No Excuses & Piano Lesson) . . . An extraordinary actor & comedienne, Liz played notable roles in TV's The Gilded Age, New Amsterdam & Elementary, award-winning short film 3 Days, and has been seen on stages in NYC & around the country, in Other Desert Cities, Gloria: A Life, Winter's Tale, Servant of Two Masters, Richard II, The Tempest, The Moving Company's Say All the Truth, and Stephen Sondheim's Assassins as Emma Goldman, among many others. A Yale MFA actor, Liz has often performed at The PIT and Upright Citizens Brigade with Smart and Attractive, Seriously Extremely Important & The Goods Are Odd.
featuring RONALD EMILE (#Lemonade) . . . Ron is a terrific actor, VO artist, and native New Yorker whose theater credits include Macbeth (Broadway), The Gospel Woman (National Black Theatre), All We Need Is Us (Keen Company), Feeding Beatrice (St. Louis Rep), and Actually (Theatreworks Hartford). You can hear Ron in audio plays Hop Tha A (Audible) and We Can’t Breathe (The Playwrights Realm). On TV, catch him in Emmy Award nominated series Inventing Anna (Netflix) and the long running drama Blue Bloods. Ron trained at Marymount Manhattan College (BFA), BADA, and NYU’s MFA Acting Program. He is the proud co-director of Exploring Black Narratives, an immersive program that explores plays & texts by acclaimed Black writers.
and EMILY CHADICK WEISS (Piano Lesson) . . . An amazing writer, Emily's a member playwright at The Ensemble Studio Theater, and is a five-time Alfred P. Sloan Science and Technology Grant recipient. John Lithgow & Steven Boyer star in her audio play If You Win, produced by Playing on Air. Her play, The Fork, was a New York Times Critic’s Pick; The Last Party is published by Applause Theatre & Cinema Books and Ghosted is published in The Best Women’s Monologues from New Plays 2020. Emily’s piece on Wendy Wasserstein’s The Heidi Chronicles, “Women, Where are We Going” is published in The Dramatist Magazine. She has written for the PBS Kids show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, and created the web series The Share featuring William Jackson Harper. Emily was also a speechwriter for Shahana Hanif, the winning Democratic City Council Candidate for Brooklyn’s District 39; she' s a graduate of Northwestern and winner of the Young Playwrights Inc. National Playwriting Contest.
BRIAN AVERS (creator, director, editor, featured) . . . Directed & co-wrote romantic indie comedy The Weekend (featuring a few Soggies), created & directed plays staged in NYC incl. Jesse Garon Lives (w/ Angelique Cabral & Kit Wannen) & Flying Lesson (w/ Stephanie Fieger), and a revival of Tape by Stephen Belber. Produced & co-hosted popular sports podcast The Buckeye Brothers from 2012-16 with Derrek Coss. More coming soon!
Best known as an actor, Brian has originated roles on & off-Broadway (Tony-Award winning The Father, Rock n Roll, King Lear, American Son, Travesties, The Explorer's Club, Poor Behavior, Completeness), appeared in TV shows (NCIS & NCIS LA, Castle, The Closer, Medium, FBI, Blue Bloods, Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, Unforgettable, Numb3rs, Person of Interest, Life on Mars), & films (Julie & Julia, Gigantic).
